You don’t often get the chance to take everything you’ve learned and start over from scratch.  However, this summer, we gave our product development team just such an opportunity.  We challenged them to create new contest functionality that would make it easier for consumers to enter, easier for you to administer, and easier for you to create world-class contests that are visually appealing to both consumers and the contest sponsors you want to reel in.

They eagerly took on the challenge and the end result is a set of new contest features for StickyFish coming out this October that will kick your contests into a whole new gear. Here a just some of the highlights of the new contest features we will be rolling out:

Simplified contest entry, enabling consumers to enter contests with or without points

  • Initial entry can be “click to enter” with no points required
  • Optionally, additional entries can still be earned by using points
  • In path registration allows new contest players to register in your database directly from the contest page

A new page editor to allow you to completely customize the look and feel of each contest page

  • Flash-driven ‘WYSIWYG’ editor enables your staff to easily build totally custom contest pages without being confined to the typical StickyFish template
  • Make your contest page any size on any background to deliver an immersive brand experience for contest sponsors

A new Flash-driven interactive contest list page to showcase all your contests

  • Enables your audience to scroll through a ‘cover flow’ of all your contests, just like on their iPhone and iTunes
  • Enables you to feature certain contests and highlight contests that were recently added or that are closing soon
  • Can be linked right from your homepage or main site navigation

How much will all these new features cost, you ask?  Here is the good news, these new featues will be made available at NO ADDITIONAL COST for all clients that commit to their StickyFish service through 2009.
